At Henshaws we support people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to achieve their ambitions and go beyond expectations.

We believe that, wherever they are, everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life. Our support, advice and training enable people and their families to build the skills and confidence to get more out of life and look forward to a more positive future.

How do we do it?
We deliver a range of specialist services across the north of England, including a further education College for 16-25 year-olds in Harrogate, an Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough, Housing and Supported Living across Yorkshire and the North East, and independence training and social groups through our Community Services in Manchester and Liverpool.

The Information Technology Team at Henshaws ensures the smooth operation and security of all technological systems across the organization. This includes managing hardware and software, supporting staff and service users with technical issues, and maintaining network infrastructure for our diverse services from educational programs to housing and community support.
