Andreas Bauer

Andreas Bauer is an experienced professional in manufacturing technology and industrial engineering, currently serving as Head of Production Technology at HENSOLDT since November 2018. Previously, Bauer held the position of Head of Test Electronic Warfare, Airborne Integration at HENSOLDT from June 2016 to September 2018, focusing on the integration and testing of electronic warfare components for airborne applications. Prior to that, Bauer worked at Airbus Defence & Space as Head of the Automated Production Line in the Microwave Factory, where responsibilities included RF electronics manufacturing. Bauer's career began at EADS as a Technology Engineer specializing in electronic packaging technology for radio frequency hybrids and included a role as Project Manager and Research Staff member at CEM, concentrating on packaging for microsystems and sensorics. Educational qualifications include a Diplom-Physik degree from the University of Stuttgart, completed in 1991.
