Thomas Schmid

Thomas Schmid is an experienced executive in the defense and aerospace sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Group Sales Europe at HENSOLDT since March 2017. In addition to overseeing group sales, Thomas Schmid has also held the role of Vice President, Head of International Business Development for Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, and separately for Europe and the Middle East. Prior to HENSOLDT, Thomas Schmid worked at Airbus DS Electronics & Border Security GmbH as Vice President Head of Global Sales Network from October 2015 to February 2017, and at Airbus Group as Vice President Sales Africa from January 2014 to October 2015. Thomas Schmid is an alumnus of Pforzheim University.
