Noel Leon

Noel Leon's work experience begins in 1976 with a role as a staff member at ISTH. In 1991, they became the National Coordinator for Programa ONUDI. They then moved on to become an Emeritus Professor at ITESM Campus Monterrey in 1992. From 1997 to 2016, Leon worked as a staff member at the Altshuler Institute. In 2002, they became the Chairman of AMETRIZ until 2010 when they transitioned to the role of Ex-Chairman. Leon also served as the Chairman and Member of IFIP-WG5.4 from 2003 to 2010. In 2009, they participated in Autodesk University. In 2010, they joined Innovation Management & Sustainable Technologies as a Member of the Board of Directors. In 2013, Leon co-founded Onko Solutions, LLC/SDM SRL de CV and served as a Co-Founder and Member of the Board of Directors until 2019. Lastly, in 2019, they became the Co-Founder of Hera Medical Devices and a Product Innovation Strategist.

Noel Leon has an extensive education history in the field of Mechanical Engineering. From 1964 to 1969, they attended Technische Universität Dresden, where they earned a Diplom Ingenieur degree with a specialization in the design of agricultural machines. Following this, from 1973 to 1976, Noel Leon pursued their academic pursuits further at the same institution, Technische Universität Dresden, obtaining a Dr.-Ing (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering.
