Andreas Hinrich

Andreas Hinrich currently serves as the Head of Engineering and Prototyping at Heraeus Precious Metals, a position held since August 2022, where responsibilities include planning, designing, and project management of fixtures and components, automated special machines, testing and inspection systems, and forming tools for various applications in automotive, medical components, and power electronics. Additionally, since January 2009, Andreas has been a lecturer at Heraeus, specializing in stamped, bent, and coined automotive parts, and providing design guidelines for part and tool design. Previous roles at Heraeus Electronics from April 2014 to August 2022 included Team Lead Technology, focused on system development for power electronics in e-mobility and renewable energy, and Project Leader for Research and Development, particularly in die top systems. Earlier experience includes serving as Engineering Group Lead for automotive products and as a design engineer at Heraeus. Andreas holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from FOM University of Applied Sciences and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.
