Chia-Wei Kuo

Chia-Wei Kuo is a Sr. Research and Development Scientist at Heraeus since November 2022, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and research. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2016 to November 2022, where numerical methods for two-phase compressible flows and heat transfer simulations were developed, under the sponsorship of Caterpillar Inc. and the Army Research Laboratory. Chia-Wei also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, grading courses in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Previous roles include a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Delta Electronics, a Graduate Research Assistant at National Taiwan University, and an Assistant Researcher at the Energy Research Center of NCKU Research Foundation. Chia-Wei received a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master's Degree from National Taiwan University, and a Bachelor's Degree from National Cheng Kung University.
