David Hinkel

David Hinkel is a professional engaged in public affairs and communications, currently serving at Heraeus in the Remloy division focused on rare earth recycling, where responsibilities include stakeholder analysis, project management, and communications. Hinkel has previously interned at the Deutscher Bundestag, assisting a member of parliament with speaking notes and developing communication strategies, as well as held editorial and public policy consulting roles at dpa-AFX and Bernstein Group. Earlier experience includes a communications officer position at Heraeus, overseeing corporate communications and crisis management, along with multiple trainee positions within the Heraeus Group. Hinkel is pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication Science at the University of Münster, building on a Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
