Klemens Brunner

President, Heraeus Electronics at Heraeus

Klemens Brunner is the current President of Heraeus Electronics. Klemens has been in this position since April of 2016. Prior to this, they worked as the General Manager Automotive Lighting Asia Pacific for Lumileds from January 2009 to April 2016. During their time with Lumileds, they tripled LED revenues within 3 years and successfully transformed the consumer business from no growth to double digit growth. In addition, they grew the car air purification business from zero to market leader.

Brunner began their career with Philips Lighting in January of 1999 as Senior Director Global Product Management. Klemens held this position for 10 years before moving on to Lumileds.

Brunner has been instrumental in the transition from conventional lighting to solid state lighting (LED). Klemens is a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in product management, sales, and business development. Under their guidance, Heraeus Electronics is poised for continued success in the years to come.

Klemens Brunner received their phD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Vienna. Klemens then pursued a career in Economy & Business at The Wharton School. After completing their studies in Semiconductor Electronics at RWTH Aachen University, they participated in a Joint Study Program at University of California, Berkeley.
