Rakesh Sachdev

Rakesh Sachdev is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in board governance and advisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board and Interim CEO at Axalta since August 2020, Rakesh also holds senior advisory responsibilities at New Mountain Capital. Rakesh has been Chairman of the Board at Regal Rexnord and Aceto Corporation since 2007 and June 2019, respectively, and is a board member at several notable companies including Edgewell Personal Care, Herc Rentals, ILC Dover, and Ascensus Specialties. Rakesh's previous experience includes a position on the Board of Trustees at Washington University in St. Louis. Academically, Rakesh holds an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
