Onaba Payab

Onaba Payab is an experienced professional in social development, engagement, and partnerships. They served as a Social and Cultural Affairs Analyst at the Embassy of Afghanistan, where they conducted research on women in microfinance and supported political operations. With prior roles as a Gender Fellow at The Asia Foundation and Advisor at the Office of the First Lady of Afghanistan, Onaba has demonstrated a commitment to gender equality and community development. Currently, they are the Community and Partnerships Manager at HERE EAST, furthering their dedication to fostering impactful relationships and initiatives. Onaba holds a Master's degree in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
