Matthew Li

Matthew (Yiren) Li is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist in the Applied AI/ML Group at HERE Technologies since October 2021, Matthew previously held multiple roles at Broker Genius from September 2015 to September 2021, including Data Science Lead, Head of Business Intelligence, and Lead Data Scientist, where contributions included the design of end-to-end systems, automation for business efficiency, and the delivery of data products that generated substantial revenue. Earlier experience as a Researcher for Dr. Daniel P. Ahn at the U.S. Department of State involved analyzing energy price fluctuations and investment behavior. Matthew holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a Master of Science in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and Mathematics from the University of Washington.
