Mike Dekrell

Mike Dekrell is an accomplished professional in traffic operations and management with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Manager of Traffic Gathering Operations at HERE Technologies since March 2012, Mike has developed a 24/7 Traffic Incident Management Center responsible for managing real-time traffic incident data across multiple countries. Prior to HERE Technologies, Mike held positions at Navteq Corporation as Director of National Traffic Operations, and Traffic.com as Manager of Traffic Operations - Central Region, where Mike launched the first National Traffic Operations Center. Mike's career also includes leadership roles in broadcast operations at Shadow Broadcast Services and Commuter Traffic Networks, alongside early experience as a disk jockey and sportscaster. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
