Qi Mao

Qi Mao has extensive experience in data science and machine learning, currently serving as a Principal Data Scientist at HERE Technologies since May 2016, where prior roles included Lead Data Scientist and Senior Research Engineer. Prior to joining HERE Technologies, Qi Mao held a Postdoctoral Associate position at the University at Buffalo, SUNY, focusing on machine learning and bioinformatics from July 2014 to April 2016. Additionally, Qi Mao completed another Postdoctoral Associate role in machine learning at Duke University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from October 2013 to July 2014. Early career experience includes work as a Research Associate and PhD candidate at Nanyang Technological University from August 2010 to October 2013, where a Doctor of Philosophy was earned in SCE.
