Vit Bukac

Vit Bukac is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat intelligence and security engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Security Engineer at HERE Technologies since July 2021, Vit focuses on analyzing threats and developing detection and prevention measures. Prior to this role, Vit held multiple positions at Honeywell over nearly a decade, including Security Engineering Manager, where leadership of a skilled cybersecurity team was a key responsibility. Other roles at Honeywell encompassed proactive threat hunting, incident response, and enhancements of intrusion detection capabilities. Vit's career began at Masaryk University, where responsibilities included enterprise IT administration and lecturing on Windows Systems Management. Vit holds a Doctoral degree in Computer Systems and Technologies and a Master's degree in Information Technology Security from Masaryk University Brno.
