Yanmao Man

Yanmao Man is an accomplished Lead Software Engineer at HERE Technologies, specializing in building HD Maps for autonomous driving and leading research in perception algorithms since July 2023. Concurrently, Yanmao serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona, focusing on the robustness of autonomous vehicles and deep learning-based perception systems. Previous roles include AI Researcher at Cegis Cyber, Application Security Engineer at ByteDance, and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where research involved designing secure routing schemes for content distribution in mobile ad hoc networks. Yanmao holds a PhD in Robustness of Autonomous Systems and Machine Learning from the University of Arizona, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
