Eric Barr

Eric Barr has a diverse work experience spanning almost two decades. In 2003, they joined Aon as a Software Architect, designing a highly complex global SaaS HR system of record used by 10's of millions of employees from 150+ companies. In 2009, they founded Mile Square Technology, a software development consultancy building custom web/SaaS applications. In 2015, they returned to Aon as Global Head of Engineering + Enterprise Architect, performing a diverse set of technical and product leadership functions across a multi-billion-dollar division. In 2019, they joined Kincentric as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for engineering leadership for a portfolio of SaaS applications, technical architecture, product roadmap, growth of engineers, and strategic direction. In 2020, they took a Covid Sabbatical, coding for fun and a little profit, running a multi-year commercial construction project (volunteer), and building a tiny house. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Heretto as Chief Technology Officer.

Eric Barr attended East Hampton High School, followed by Georgetown University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. Eric then went on to Brooklyn Law School to obtain their Doctor of Law degree.
