Jodi Shimp has extensive work experience in various industries. Jodi currently works as a Learning and Development Lead at Heretto, where they are responsible for developing and implementing training programs. Previously, they worked as an Ambassador for LocLunch™ in Nashville.

Jodi held multiple roles at Wayfair, including Associate Director of Content Strategy, Localization and Geo Expansion. In this position, they led content strategy and localization initiatives across multiple customer sites and managed a team of 8 people. Jodi also worked on creating scalable localization playbooks to reduce new market and language launch time.

Prior to Wayfair, Jodi worked at Crown Equipment Corporation as the Global Content and Localization Strategy Manager. Jodi built and managed a team and oversaw the end-to-end content and localization program. Jodi also served as the Global Content Manager and Technical Writer, Illustrator, and Photographer during their tenure at Crown Equipment Corporation.

Before joining Crown Equipment Corporation, Jodi had roles at Citi, where they worked as an Associate Branch Manager and an Associate, assisting customers with loan and insurance products. Jodi received numerous sales awards during their time at Citi.

Early in their career, Jodi worked at Dave & Buster's Inc. as a Senior Amusements Manager, Amusements Manager, Assistant Amusements Manager, and Midway Technician. Jodi was responsible for ensuring the ideal customer experience, managing staff, and repairing arcade games and attractions.

Jodi started their career in the US Army, where they served as a Team Leader and Communication Security Repair Technician.

Jodi Shimp completed their Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University, which they attended from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Learning Airtable from LinkedIn, which they obtained in October 2021, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Crown Equipment Corporation in May 2014, Project Management from Kepner-Tregoe in February 2013, and Simplified Technical English from Tedopres International B.V. in November 2011.
