Scott Abel has held various roles throughout their work experience. Scott is currently working as a Content Strategy Evangelist at Heretto, where they help product information teams create, manage, and publish content efficiently. Prior to this, Scott was the President of The Content Wrangler, providing consulting services for content management in IT companies. Scott is also a Co-Founder and Program Manager of Information Development World, a conference dedicated to content creation. Scott has been the Director of the San Francisco Content Strategy/Content Marketing Pros Meetup, organizing sessions for content professionals. Scott has served as a Conference Program Manager for Content Strategy Applied, focusing on content strategy practices. Additionally, Scott worked as the Interim Director of Content at ExO Lever, a movement that teaches organizations exponential growth. Scott has authored a monthly column for EContent Magazine and worked at The Rockley Group, Incorporated, managing social media marketing and editing eBooks. Scott also contributed to Translators without Borders, raising awareness of the importance of translation. Scott has been a columnist for Intercom Magazine.
Scott Abel attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 1986 to 1991, where they studied Journalism. Scott did not obtain a degree during this time. In January 2020, Scott obtained a certification as a Kolbe Certified™ Consultant from Kolbe Corp.
