Will Roper

Will Roper is the Chief Executive Officer at Istari since May 2022 and serves as a Distinguished Professor of the Practice at the Georgia Institute of Technology from March 2022. Additionally, Roper holds the title of Honorary Group Captain with the Royal Air Force since August 2021. Involved in various advisory roles, Roper has been a member of the Government Advisory Board at Insight Partners since February 2022, an Executive Advisory Committee Member at the Georgia Tech Research Institute since January 2024, and an Advisory Board member at J.F. Lehman & Company. Roper is also a Board Member for Hermeus and Ursa Major Technologies since April 2021, and an Advisory Board Member for RED 6 and Firehawk Aerospace since March 2021. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from the University of Oxford and multiple degrees in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
