Mohan G.

Mohan G. has a wealth of experience in software engineering and management. Mohan began their career in 1997 as a Network Design Engineer at HP. In 1999, they became a Project Leader and Architect at Hewlett-Packard Company, where they managed a team of four engineers to effectively rescue a disarrayed project. In 2005, they took on a role as Product Architect at Vimo.com, where they were in charge of the portal for Doctor, Hospital, Procedure pricing, and Dentists. That same year, they also became the Director of Engineering at an unnamed startup company, where they developed software to meet the eventual goals of the product. In 2007, they moved to Kosmix Corp as a Technical Lead. The following year, they joined Ning as an Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer. In 2010, they began working at Facebook as an Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for building very high quality web-based products. In 2018, they moved to Uber as a Senior Engineering Manager. In 2019, they joined TripActions as the Director of Engineering. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded and became the CEO of Hermis, Inc., a one-stop destination for all team building events for a distributed team.

Mohan G. completed their BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Mohan then went on to earn their MS in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
