Tim Hawks attended Bluefield State University from 1975 to 1977, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Architecture. Tim then went on to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1980 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. Later in 1988 to 1989, Tim Hawks attended Queens University of Charlotte, though no degree is mentioned for that time period, as they focused on Real Estate Development.
