Rob Nalen

Rob Nalen currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Legal Affairs at HeroDevs, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this, Rob Nalen held various leadership roles at GitLab from July 2019 to April 2024, including Vice President of Legal Operations and Senior Director of Contracts and Legal Operations. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Management BU Operations & Product Portfolio at Red Hat from January 2016 to July 2019 and as Director of Operations & Legal Affairs at Ansible, Inc. from February 2014 to February 2016. Rob Nalen's career began as a Contract Specialist at Red Hat from January 2012 to February 2014 and included a role as a teacher at Butner Stem Middle School from October 2008 to January 2012. Educational qualifications consist of a degree in Paralegal Studies from Duke University and a degree in Adolescent Education, History from the State University of New York at Oswego.
