Heroic Design
Christopher McLean, P.Eng., is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and design. Currently serving as the President of Heroic Design since April 2021, McLean leads a rigorous design process aimed at delivering exceptional designs. In addition, McLean holds the position of Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia, mentoring students in the Faculty of Applied Science. As an Associate at Creative Destruction Lab, McLean mentors entrepreneurs in the Climate Stream. Previously, McLean co-founded ESPRO Inc., where significant contributions included leading product development and managing design for award-winning coffee equipment. With an extensive career spanning various roles in product development and design management at Xebec Adsorption and QuestAir Technologies, McLean brings a wealth of expertise in engineering, innovation, and teaching, backed by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
