Heron School is a private, secondary school located in Moab, Utah, serving neurodivergent learners ages 13-18. Heron School specializes in working with students labeled as “twice-exceptional" or "2e”, where the student is an above grade level learner (academically gifted or talented in one or more areas of interest) and has a qualifying learning <dis>ability such as autism, dyslexia, and/or ADHD. 

Heron School's curriculum is both project-based and student-led. We are proud to uphold a 4:1 student to instructor ratio. This allows us to cultivate courses that are individualized to each student's needs so that they can feel empowered in their unique sets of strengths. We offer classes in the core subjects of Humanities, STEM, and Arts with an overall emphasis on post-secondary preparedness. Our mission is to support students on their journeys becoming confident and contributing members of their communities and the world at large.
