Heron Wolf specializes in heavy civil construction and commercial real estate staffing & headhunting, connecting top firms with the industry’s best talent.

Most staffing firms chase KPIs, push placements to hit quotas, and answer to shareholders. We don’t. Heron Wolf was built to operate differently, no outside investors, no corporate fluff, just a relentless focus on getting hiring right.

What’s the difference between a recruitment agency and a professional staffing & headhunting partner like Heron Wolf?

Recruitment agencies tend to be transactional. Their teams are KPI-driven, often under pressure to hit commission and sales targets.

A professional staffing and headhunting partner works differently. We operate as an extension of your business, aligning talent with long-term goals, company culture, and leadership needs. We don’t rely on job boards and inbox applications, we are skilled in the art of headhunting: To go out and find the people no one else is speaking to.

Our Principles:

Autonomy That Delivers
No outside investors. We move fast, think independently, and stay focused on those we serve.

A Model Built for You
No quotas. No commissions. Just honest, pressure-free consulting.

Tailored Solutions
We use real-time data and industry insight, not automation.

Experience That Counts
Our consultants average 13+ years, 4x the norm.

A Fear-Free Culture
No cold-call & KPI targets driving the approach. Just long-term results.

Investing in the Future
Scholarships & industry support that give back.

We’re active members of GCANY, PDCA, BOMA, CREW, and ACCNJ.
