Mario Herrera Hortal

Mario Herrera Hortal has a rich work experience with diverse roles in the aviation industry. MARIO started their career at CESA - COMPAÑIA ESPAÑOLA DE SISTEMAS AERONÁUTICOS, S.A. in 2009, where they served in various positions including Production Engineering, Suppliers Development Engineer, Machining Shop Manager, and eventually became the Head of Internal Production. MARIO worked at CESA until 2018.

In 2018, Herrera Hortal joined Héroux-Devtek, where they initially assumed the role of Head of Internal Production. Later, they took on the responsibility of Head of Programmes Management, Planning & Sales. Currently, they serve as the Operations Director at Héroux-Devtek, a position they have held since July 2022.

Throughout their career, Mario Herrera Hortal has showcased their expertise in production management, program management, sales planning, and operations.

Mario Herrera Hortal has a diverse education history spanning from 2002 to 2020. In 2002, they enrolled at the Universidad de Cantabria and completed a degree in Ingeniería, specializing in Ingeniería industrial. Following this, in 2009, they pursued further education at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they obtained a Postdegree in business administration, with a focus on Administración y gestión de empresas, general.

In 2014, Mario attended the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, where they earned a Lean & SixSigma Green Belt Certificate. Finally, in 2019 to 2020, they joined the IESE Business School for an Executive Development Program, graduating with a degree named PDD 2020.
