The Herrick Foundation seeks to empower and support organizations that strengthen communities and help people flourish.

Our geographic priorities include the following Michigan counties: Washtenaw, Lenawee, Livingston, Jackson, Monroe, Emmet and Charlevoix. We generally do not support organizations focused on Detroit and Ann Arbor.

Our focus areas include: Community Wellbeing, Lifelong Learning and Housing.

The Herrick Foundation was established by Ray W. Herrick in 1949 to provide financial contributions to worthy publicly supported charitable organizations. We are an invitation only, grantmaking 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
