Herriot Consulting, formerly R M Herriot and Associates Pty Ltd, was founded in 1970 by Ron Herriot (now retired). Over the past five decades the company has grown into a well-rounded, mid-sized consultancy offering civil and structural engineering design services.

Since the company's beginnings, the core business has traditionally focused on Civil land division design with subsequent housing and residential development design. In the past decade the structural team has expanded their repertoire of expertise to include small to medium sized commercial projects and a range of appealing architectural structures and associated civil requirements. The civil team specialises in land division developments, from planning to final completion, including the design of road networks, stormwater together with water sensitive urban design, SA Water sewer & water reticulation, and other associated civil works, including general building civil works and ocean and river marinas.

We provide well-detailed, effective and practical design solutions in collaboration with the broader project team to deliver high quality projects.
