About Us

Herron Books is a premier commercial publisher and custom manufacturing partner specializing in high-volume, high-turnover book programs for the world’s largest retail chains. Family-owned and operated out of Brisbane since 1981, we have evolved from a traditional distributor into a major publishing force, recognized for our ability to deliver trend-driven, high-quality books at low RRPs that maximize retail shelf-space and drive market-leading stock turns.

Our core expertise lies in Custom Retail Publishing. We act as a proprietary product pipeline for major corporate category managers—collaborating directly with retail giants to curate, design, and supply exclusive book programs tailored specifically to their customer demographics and seasonal promotional calendars.

Supported by robust international logistics networks and efficient shipping frameworks (FOB), we seamlessly manage mass-market distribution from concept to storefront. Our rapidly growing publishing catalogue features over 300+ active, mass-market titles across high-demand categories:

Lifestyle & Home: Modern Cooking, Wellness, Homewares, and Travel.

Mind & Interactive: High-engagement Puzzles, Novelty, and specialized Activity books.

While we remain a proud cornerstone supplier to hundreds of independent newsagents across Australia, our modern infrastructure is custom-built to service the immense scale, tight lead times, and strict compliance standards of Tier-1 global retail environments.

Global Retail & Custom Program Partners
"Personalization is the key to cutting through the noise and making a meaningful connection with customers."
