Sean Smith

Sean Smith is an experienced Information Security Specialist currently employed at the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) since December 2015, where responsibilities include creating policies for NIST compliance and conducting internal audits. Previously, Sean has held roles such as IT Consultant at Weichert, Realtors, providing user support, and worked in IT Operations at Maquet Getinge Group, delivering T1 help desk support. Additional experience includes a position as Junior Network Engineer at FITECH Consultants, supporting various networking and security products, and serving as a BoH Specialist at Apple Retail focused on inventory management. Sean also completed an internship as an Animation Engineer at Motion Capture NYC and as a Marketing and Promotions intern at ESPN Radio. Academic qualifications include a BFA in 3D animation and design from Mercy University, a degree in Computer Networks and Security from Anthem Institute, and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from County College of Morris.
