HL developed a proprietary methodology for early, accurate, non-invasive diagnosis and monitoring of cancers and other diseases.  We use platelets as our analyte, for they naturally sequester disease relevant proteins.  This is novel for healthcare diagnostics which typically relies on plasma and other circulating blood components such as circulating tumor cells, imaging technologies and biopsies as the default analytical tools.  
 
Our ground-breaking pre-clinical data shows that platelets maintain a proteomic equation of health in which levels of inhibitor and stimulator proteins for specific cellular functions exist in balance.  Protein imbalance in the platelet protein equation indicates the presence and/or progress of a disease.  

HL’s diagnostic device HessMap™ details the body’s proteomic equation for specific diseases.  The HessMap™ is not a single biomarker nor a multi-single biomarker assay. Instead, it is focused on identifying the evolution of disease by following the proteins that represent the dominant functions at each disease stage.
