Akaash Sachdeva has extensive experience in responsible investment and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) analysis. Currently serving as the Manager, Responsible Investment at HESTA since February 2018, Akaash has previously held roles as a Senior Responsible Investment Adviser and Senior Investment Analyst - ESG within the same organization. Prior to HESTA, Akaash worked at Regnan - Governance Research & Engagement as an ESG Analyst from October 2010 to January 2018 and contributed as a Research Assistant at Monash Sustainability Institute on a project funded by the Helen MacPherson Trust. Early career experiences include an internship at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria and a role as a Graduate Accountant at hmh Chartered Accountants Financial Advisors. Akaash possesses a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Monash University and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Accounting) and Arts (History) from La Trobe University.
