Shafa Ali

Shafa Ali is a Community Engagement Practitioner currently working with Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and Hestia Charity since October 2023, managing a high case load and conducting home visits for welfare checks. Previously, Shafa held the position of Mental Health Support Worker at Cygnet Health Care from April 2022 to December 2023, where responsibilities included patient monitoring, performing basic health checks, and facilitating group activities. Work experience includes roles as a waitress at Premier Inn and Crowne Plaza London and as a teacher assistant at Busy Bees Nurseries and Bright Kids Day Nursery. Shafa holds a Master of Science in Psychology: Mental Health Sciences from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with Psychology from Middlesex University, alongside relevant qualifications from Leyton Sixth Form College.
