Barry McCardel

Barry McCardel is the co-founder and CEO of Hex. Prior to Hex, they were the Senior Director of Operations and Strategy at TrialSpark, where they worked to bring new treatments to patients faster and more efficiently. Before TrialSpark, Barry was a Forward Deployed Engineer at Palantir Technologies, where they led teams at the intersection of product development and real-world impact. Barry started their career as a Senior Associate at PwC, where they focused on management consulting. Barry also interned at Draft FCB, Pitchfork Media, Apple, and Pension Trend. In addition to their professional experience, Barry has also worked as a research assistant at SONIC Lab at Northwestern University and as a horseback riding instructor and counselor at Camp Sancta Maria.

Barry McCardel received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.
