Engineering Lead, Infrastructure at Hex

Kim Leung has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

In 2013, Kim worked as a Research Assistant at NYU Langone Medical Center. Kim then transitioned to a role as a Customer Experience representative at Honey.is in 2014.

Kim joined New York University in 2010, where they worked as a Resource Center Assistant until 2015.

From 2016 to 2019, Kim held various roles at Contently, starting as a Frontend Engineer, then moving on to become a Full Stack Engineer, and finally transitioning to a position as a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer.

In 2019, Kim also began working as a Public Speaker for Badassery.

Kim joined Catalyst Software in 2019 and held multiple roles during their time there. Kim started as a Site Reliability Engineer, then moved on to become a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Kim then took on the role of Engineering Manager in the SRE department and eventually became an Engineering Manager in Infrastructure. Kim'stenure at Catalyst Software ended in 2022.

Currently, Kim is working as the Engineering Lead for Infrastructure at Hex, starting in 2023.

Kim Leung completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics from New York University from 2013 to 2015. Kim then attended Fullstack Academy in 2015, although no degree or field of study is specified. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics, also from New York University. In terms of additional certifications, Kim obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2017.
