Amal Chandran

Amal Chandran is currently the Chief Executive Officer at HEX20 and serves as the SmallSat Chief Engineer at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. With extensive experience in small satellite projects, Amal has led multiple missions in both the USA and Singapore and is the principal investigator on four current small satellite missions. Previously, Amal held positions at Nanyang Technological University, where they were an Assistant Professor and developed various small satellite missions. Amal earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, complementing their role in advancing space science initiatives globally through the INSPIRE program.
