Salih is a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology, earned in 2022. They have experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at HEX20 Global since 2024 and previously worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and as a Mechanical Engineer at HEX20. Salih has a strong interest in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, particularly in structural design, and has participated in various projects, including a notable final year project on the structural design and optimization of an interstage for a launch vehicle under the guidance of VSSC, ISRO.
