Johan Stigwall

Johan Stigwall is an expert engineer specializing in camera-based metrology, currently engaged in pre-productization R&D at Hexagon Technology Center since 2023. Previously, Johan completed a PhD at Chalmers University of Technology, where their research focused on diffraction optics and fiber-optical systems. Johan's extensive experience includes roles as a research scientist at Imego AB, where they developed machine learning algorithms for medical applications, as well as positions at UCLA and Hexagon AB, spanning over a decade in optical metrology and photonics. With a strong background in both theoretical and experimental work, Johan bridges hardware and software solutions to advance imaging technologies.
