Alex Baidak is currently the Vice President of Research and Technology for Aeromatrix and Adhesives at Hexcel Corporation, a position held since 2016. Previously, Alex served as a Research and Technology Manager within the same division at Hexcel, and held roles as Associate Research Fellow and Senior Materials Research Scientist at Cytec from 2008 to 2010. Alex’s academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Sciences, awarded by the University of Liège, where they also completed an engineering degree. Additionally, Alex was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Liège from 1994 to 2000.
