Steve Loper

Steve Loper is a seasoned professional in engineering and project management, currently serving as a consultant since November 2018, providing guidance for capital investments in the wood-binding resin sector. As the Global Director of Major Projects & Programs at Hexion Inc. since April 2012, Steve Loper has excelled in leading cross-functional teams to address key business needs and oversee process engineering and equipment procurement. From 1981 until April 2024, Steve Loper held various leadership positions, including Global Director of Major Projects and Programs and Director of Project and Program Management at Momentive Specialty Chemical, where similar responsibilities were undertaken within the Forest Products Division. Steve Loper earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington between 1974 and 1978.
