Mohammed Alhamed has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as a Software Programmer at the Communication & Information Technology Commission. Mohammed then went on to found NQD in 2008 and served as the CEO until 2010. In 2010, Alhamed also founded Hacwar and held the role of Founder until 2013. Mohammed then worked as a Software Engineer at Raytheon for a few months before transitioning to a role as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at the Communication & Information Technology Commission in 2013. Alhamed co-founded Janat in 2014 and served as a Founder until 2015. Mohammed then took on the position of Director of the Data and Information Management Centre at the Ministry of Commerce from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, Alhamed joined the University of Glasgow as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Mohammed later founded Awardee in 2019 and continued to work as the Founder. Alhamed's most recent role, starting in November 2022, is as a Senior Data Scientist at Hexis.
Mohammed Alhamed began their education in the field of Computer Software Engineering in 2011 and completed their Master of Science degree at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013. Mohammed then pursued further studies at the University of Glasgow, where they started a Doctor of Philosophy program in Applied Human Computation and Decision Intelligence in Software Engineering in 2017. This program is expected to conclude in 2023.
