Tighernán Shaffrey

Tighernán Shaffrey is a proficient professional with extensive experience in the drone and technology sectors. As a Safety Officer at eDrone, Tighernán was one of three Irish pilots trained in France to operate military-spec tethered drones. Following this role, Tighernán served as a Research Lab Assistant at the University of Notre Dame and later as a Graduate Product Strategist at Drone Response, where over 50 stakeholder interviews were conducted to develop a go-to-market strategy for a drone software startup. Tighernán co-founded White Fox Digital, supporting local businesses during the pandemic, and also held the position of Founder and Drone Consultant at AV8, where specialized drone consulting services were provided. Currently, Tighernán is involved with Hextronics, focusing on the infrastructure for autonomous aerial data collection, while also possessing a solid educational background in engineering from Technological University Dublin and a Master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
