HEY NOW Records is a Nashville based record label built on a single operating principle: music first, artists first, always.

Founding partners are Kenny Chesney, Clint Higham, John Esposito, and Kris Lamb.

The premise behind the company is that the industry got the order of operations backwards. It treats artists like inventory to be optimized instead of humans to be developed and protected. It chases short term spikes over long term careers. It hides behind data instead of holding conviction.

HEY NOW is built the other way. Strategy, creativity, and care aligned in the same room. Every hire chosen for point of view as much as resume. Every signing made with the patience to develop the artist and the discipline to defend them across a career, not a quarter.

The thesis is simple. The artists who define the next decade will be the ones whose teams had the conviction to bet on them when others wouldn't. The labels that win will be the ones built around that truth instead of around the spreadsheet version of it. Doing it right is the most sustainable way to do it.

HEY NOW Records is for artists who want a team that takes the work as seriously as they do, and for partners who believe a label can still be a place where music wins.

Based in Nashville. Building thru conviction.
