Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of content production and videography. Patrick worked as a Senior Content Producer at Hey, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they operated their own film production company called Pat Smith Films since February 2011. In this role, they were responsible for various aspects of project-based writing, directing, production, capture, and video editing for special events, branded digital videos, and documentaries. Patrick engaged with clients to determine budgets, target media, and project scope, coordinated staffing, scheduling, locations, permitting, and clearances, and authored or co-authored production notes, scripts, and project documentation. Patrick also directed performances for actors and voice-overs and led videography, sound, lighting, and editing.

Before establishing their own company, Patrick worked as a Video Producer and Editor for Howard Schultz from January 2019 to June 2019. In this role, they traveled with the prospective candidate and captured authentic interactions between the public and Howard Schultz at various events across the U.S.

Additionally, Patrick was a Producer at BBDO Worldwide from May 2011 to May 2017. Patrick oversaw television commercials through all phases of production and worked with a range of budgets, from $1,000 to $1 million. Their clients included Bank of America, PepsiCo, and Mars Inc.
