Cory Schmidt

Cory Schmidt has a diverse range of work experience spanning across various industries. Cory has held the position of Head of Marketing at Heyflow since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Pavilion as a Member starting in August 2021. From July 2021 to June 2023, Cory served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Wunder Mobility. Cory also held multiple roles at Canto, including Head of Marketing from July 2019 to June 2021, Director of Demand Generation from April 2018 to July 2019, and Marketing Manager from February 2017 to April 2018. Before that, Cory worked as a Content Manager at APP MEDIA (by Fonpit AG) from February 2016 to January 2017, and at Axonic Informationssysteme GmbH from May 2015 to February 2016. Cory also gained experience as a Project Manager at KERN Global Language Services from October 2013 to April 2015. Cory's earliest work experience was serving as a Health Care Specialist and Combat Medic in the US Army from September 2001 to August 2007.

Cory Schmidt obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Cory then pursued a Master of Arts degree in American Studies / Sociology at The University of Kansas, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they also completed a Graduate Direct Exchange program at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

In 2021, Cory Schmidt pursued a Master of Science degree in Marketing at the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School, studying from 2021 to 2023.

In terms of certifications, Cory Schmidt obtained various qualifications. In 2019, they earned a Frontend Web Development Certification from CareerFoundry and completed the Advanced Google Analytics certification by Google. In the same year, they also obtained the Google Ads Fundamentals certification. In 2020, they completed the Oxford Digital Marketing: Disruptive Strategy Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a certification in Digital Marketing Analytics from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Currently, Cory Schmidt is pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Cory is enrolled in the Executive MBA programs at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA program. Cory started these programs in 2022 and is projected to graduate in 2024.
