Peter Walsh

Peter Walsh has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Peter started their career at Blueprint Agencies, where they worked as a Full Stack Developer. Peter was responsible for maintaining and extending various applications on different frameworks and stacks. Peter also worked on greenfield projects, including inventory management systems and eCommerce and learning portal sites.

After that, Peter joined KW Team Leads as a Full Stack Developer. Peter managed a critical legacy ETL system and developed a microservice+gateway based solution to replace it. Peter also created internal tools using a MEAN stack to trigger real-time alerts across complex business approval flows.

Peter then worked at SAMETRICA as a Frontend Developer & Deployment/Automation Specialist, where they focused on frontend development and deployment automation.

Peter later moved to Perceptive Web Solutions as a Full Stack Developer, where they worked as a freelancer. Peter helped architect, build, and deliver a mobile and web app experience for teaching children English. Peter also developed a hyper-performant solution for delivering ads.

Currently, Peter is working at HeyOrca! as the Director of Engineering. Peter has radically optimized internal project processes to expedite delivery times. Peter plans, architects, executes, and oversees critical technical projects. Peter has also developed and delivered various technical and non-technical company addresses, workshops, and learning initiatives.

Peter Walsh completed their education in Web Development at the College of the North Atlantic from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Web Development.
