Tal Lapidot has worked in various industries since 2005. Tal started their career in the Israel Defense Forces as a Mechanical Engineer & Product Manager in a special R&D unit that develops customized products for special forces. Tal specialized in mechanical integration of multidisciplinary systems and worked on various multidisciplinary projects, individually or collaborating as part of a team, as a mechanical designer, mechanical process supervisor, system engineer, project manager and product manager. In 2012, they joined EggDetect Ltd as a System Engineer, a food industry startup which developed a new non-invasive poultry egg fertility classification based on spectral image analysis. Tal helped set up the infrastructure for research efforts as well as defining the development milestones and the scope of the product until the company's liquidation. In 2014, they moved to Syqe Medical Ltd as a Project Manager. Finally, in 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Silo Kitchen Inc.
Tal Lapidot received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2005. Tal then went on to receive a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2015.
