Elaine Shields

Elaine Shields is an experienced finance and IT professional with a robust background in accounting and business analysis. Currently serving as IT Manager and HR and Legal Business Partner at HF Sinclair since June 2021, Elaine previously held the role of BP&A Manager at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where responsibilities included leading the accounting staff for enterprise capital portfolio management. At Andeavor, Elaine excelled as Director of Business Planning & Analysis, significantly reducing budget overages and establishing reporting for C-suite visibility. Additional experience includes leadership positions in corporate accounting and financial management across several organizations, including Valero Energy Corporation and Biomedical Development Corporation. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has furthered professional development through programs at the University of Utah and the Center for Creative Leadership.
