Jeff MacHa

Jeff Macha is an experienced operations manager currently serving as the Area Operations Manager at HF Sinclair since September 2022. Prior to this, Jeff held various positions at ExxonMobil from June 2011 to August 2022, including Business Analysis and Reporting Supervisor, where responsibilities included refinery stewardship and annual business planning. As the Hydrocracking and Reforming Business Team Lead, Jeff successfully oversaw the Hydrocracker, two continuous catalytic reformers, and led a turnaround process that improved unit reliability. Other significant roles included Delayed Coker Mechanical Availability Lead, where Jeff targeted reliability and cost reduction, and Coordination Section Supervisor, leading a team to optimize refinery logistics, particularly following the Hurricane Harvey shutdown. Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2011.
