Rainer Bass is currently the Director of Market Intelligence and Analytics at HF Sinclair, a position held since 2026. Previously, Rainer served in several roles at HF Sinclair, including Senior Manager of Market Intelligence and Analytics, where they lead the Fundamentals Team, and as Process Engineering Project Manager, overseeing the design and implementation of a Renewables Diesel complex. Rainer earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University, following an engineering program at Hutchinson Community College.
